The inspiration behind the sculpture came from the idea of representing loyalty, strength, and approachability — qualities often associated with dogs. For a high-traffic commercial setting like a mall, the design needed to achieve three goals:
1.Aesthetic Impact – The metallic finish and detailed craftsmanship make the sculpture a striking focal point, catching natural and artificial lighting throughout the day.
2.Durability & Safety – Built for a public space, the structure had to withstand heavy foot traffic, accidental contact, and long-term exposure to indoor conditions without losing its shine.
3.Engagement & Interaction – Positioned in a prominent location, the sculpture invites mall visitors to take photos, contributing to social media visibility and strengthening the mall’s cultural identity.
Manufacturing & Material Selection
The sculpture was fabricated in our advanced workshop, using high-grade stainless steel (304) as the primary material. This was chosen for its
- Corrosion resistance – ensuring a long lifespan indoors.
- Structural strength – supporting the sculpture’s size without deformation.
- Visual appeal – allowing various finishes such as mirror polish and brushed textures.
Our artisans combined modern CNC cutting, TIG welding, and 3D shaping techniques with traditional hand-finishing to bring out intricate details. The final surface is brushed to give the sculpture a more premium sheen that resonates with the mall’s luxurious retail ambiance.
